About Kelly
Kelly started at Bill Jacobs almost 15 years ago. She started in the BDC department, working for the BMW, Volkswagen, and Land Rover locations. As time went on, Kelly transitioned into BMW Sales, which sparked her passion for the brand. From there she advanced and became one of Bill Jacobs BMW Managers.

What Drives Her Award
The Chicago Auto Show proudly collaborates with A Girls Guide to Cars and Women in Automotive to host the annual What Drives Her networking event and awards program during the show’s Media Preview.
Launched in 2017, What Drives Her was created to unite influential women in the automotive industry and highlight female leadership and innovation across manufacturing, retail, media, and beyond.
In 2022, event organizers introduced the What Drives Her awards to honor outstanding women and advocates within the industry. Nominations come from professionals across auto manufacturing, suppliers, media, and dealerships, with a distinguished panel of female automotive journalists selecting the winners.
At the local level, the Best Retailer award invites CATA dealers to nominate an exceptional female professional from Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana dealerships. This nominee exemplifies dedication and excellence in roles such as sales, service, finance, or technical support and must be employed by a Chicago-area dealership.
