BMW i5 RELEASE DATE
The first-ever BMW i5 is set to be released in October of 2023, while pre-orders are expected to be available on May 24th. The BMW i5 will carry the same 5 Series sedan and shape and size.
BMW i5 DESIGN
The BMW i4 is anticipated to have bright-white dual headlights, resembling those on the iX. It is anticipated the the BMW i5 is designed to be a conversion of an ICE model to a sustainable, yet luxury sedan. From the sneak-peaks shown online, the 2024 BMW i4 is predicted to have improved headroom, with bigger rear windows. Flush door handles will also improve the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency. The rear fascia looks more aggressive because of new tail lamps that have a boxy shape, sharp lines and are straighter and wider.

BMW i5 POWER
The BMW i5 will be available in a 335 horsepower eDrive40 single-motor rear-wheel drive variant and a 590 M60 dual-motor all-wheel drive variant. The battery pack of the electric sedan is a lithium-ion unit consisting of four modules, each of which includes 72 cells. Operating at 400 volts, it can store 81 kWh of energy.
