With its carbon-fiber/aluminum structure and electric powertrain, the i3 advances BMW’s legendary driving dynamics into the future. It handles well due to a low center of gravity; in car and driver testing, it went from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. The latest BMW i3 has a 114 mile range on a full charge—that’s 40% farther than the first generation model1—making it the electric vehicle that will change the way you think about driving. And the unprecedented use of strong yet lightweight Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) makes it one of BMW’s lightest vehicles, further enhancing both performance and efficiency. Battery capacity rises 50 percent, from 22 to 33 kilowatt hours. BMW will continue to offer a range-extended i3 REx model, with a 0.65-liter two-cylinder gasoline engine that acts as a generator. The REx will also get the 33-kWh battery pack, and owners will be able to fill its gas tank to the full capacity for 2.4 gallons. Well equipped with features such as Parking Assistant Package and Metallic Paint, and includes Destination Charges. The Parking Assistant Package includes Rear View Camera, Park Distance Control and Parking Assistant.
